It is always sad when a child comes to the end of their course as it means we won’t be able to see them as
much, although it also means we have done our job in giving them increased strength and control of their movement.
Earlier this week it was Eadie from Eadie’s Wishes who came to the end of her course. Eadie has made incredible progress, and Sally her Mum had some very kind words in a recent post.
“Today was the last day of Eadie’s Targeted Therapy at The Movement Centre – when we first started Eadie didn’t do a great deal, couldn’t roll, sit up unaided or move, it was difficult to get her to engage and she lay there like a slug!!! Today she wouldn’t keep still, crawling everywhere to be picked up, chasing the foil blanket and showing off her skills.”
Such lovely words from Sally, and we hope Eadie continues to gain more independence.
We offer all families a follow up once they have finished a course of Targeted Training, so we look forward to seeing Eadie again in 6 months time.
The Movement Centre offer free initial assessment, so that we can determine, whether a child could benefit from Targeted Training. we would love to hear from you and discuss whether we could support your child.
