Funded Physiotherapy Programmes
Through our charitable donations and fundraising we are able to offer physiotherapy programmes for all families who’s child is suitable for our treatment programme.
As we rely on this type of funding we ask that families consider supporting our work, through your own fundraising events or activities. Visit our fundraising page to find out how you can help.

Got questions? We have answers!
How is a course of Targeted Training funded?
All therapy at The Movement Centre is funded through fundraising, charitable donations, Trusts, corporate support and individual fundraisers because it does not receive statutory funding. This enables courses to be offered to families based on need rather than ability to pay.
Do families need to pay for Targeted Training therapy?
No. Families are not charged directly for the core therapy programme as long as funding has been secured through donations and fundraising efforts.
What costs might a family be charged?
There are a small number of administrative fees that may apply, such as appointment changes, missed sessions and additional reports – details of these are listed in the fundraising section above.
How can my family help with fundraising?
Families can support The Movement Centre by organising events, activities or personal challenges, setting up fundraising pages, or promoting community initiatives. The Centre’s fundraising team can offer support and ideas.
What support is available if I’m struggling to secure funding?
The Movement Centre can provide guidance and sign-posting to outside charitable grant sources (such as Turn2Us, Just 4 Children, Tree of Hope and others) to help families seek funding assistance.
Can we start a course before funding is in place?
No. An initial assessment is required and, where appropriate, a funding pathway will be discussed before therapy begins. This ensures families and the Centre can plan for the course of treatment.
What happens after the therapy course is complete?
After completion, families receive detailed reports and may come back for review appointments (including a 6-month follow-up) to monitor progress and receive ongoing support.
