The amazing Jaxon visited this morning for another review at The Movement Centre.
Targeted Training is split into 8 week blocks. Within those 8 week blocks, families take home their standing frame and tailored therapy programme, so that the Targeted Training activities can take place in the home.
Jaxon and his family have been doing amazing at home. He is currently working on his high kneeling and standing abilities. Once he is stronger and has more control in these positions, he will be much more independent. He showed us some great work in his standing frame today, having loads of fun with our Physio Student, Megan from Keele University, and his therapy team.
Mum also showed the team a few photos from home, where he showed some amazing new skills (while
helping with the washing, which is a bonus right?) He was very lucky this morning as we had just received lots of new sensory items that we purchased from Rhino UK. We were kindly supported by Wrexham Yale Rotary, who gave a grant for us to purchase the items. We can’t wait to share all the equipment with more children!
